"The Drop pays homage to the element of water and the untamable forces of nature which are omnipresent in Vancouver. The slender, elongated sculpture balances as if a huge raindrop were on the verge of landing on sea walk."

Inukshuk at English Bay

It's raining again so my camera is resting while I am pretending to watch World Cup 2010. Don't ask me who's playing because I have no idea. Anyway, photo was taken couple weeks ago at English Bay. You can see Inukshuk, Inuit's stone figure well known in all Canada. It represents human being, in the Inuit's language Inuktikut, Inukshuk means "in the likenes of a human". This one was made by artisan Alvin Kanak.
