Let's pretend it's summer
Lately, the weather was just awful here, I cannot believe that is end of June.
Anyway, somebody decided to paint those lovely benches in red and to bring color into our lives.

Good morning
Cloudy like always. Still waiting for the sun.
I didn't focus camera. Couldn't lay on the grass, some people were watching.

The Drop
Elegant sculpture outside Vancouver's Convention Centre, work of Inges Idee .
"The Drop pays homage to the element of water and the untamable forces of nature which are omnipresent in Vancouver. The slender, elongated sculpture balances as if a huge raindrop were on the verge of landing on sea walk."

Inukshuk at English Bay
It's raining again so my camera is resting while I am pretending to watch World Cup 2010. Don't ask me who's playing because I have no idea. Anyway, photo was taken couple weeks ago at English Bay. You can see Inukshuk, Inuit's stone figure well known in all Canada. It represents human being, in the Inuit's language Inuktikut, Inukshuk means "in the likenes of a human". This one was made by artisan Alvin Kanak.
